Introduction
India is having now a demographic advantage with the largest pool of youth readying to enter the active workforce. Every Iyear 10 million young men and women will be ready to join the workforce for next 20 years. The demographic advantage needs to be transformed into demographic dividend. According to Goldman Sachs, India is projected to become the second largest economy in the world by the year 2050. These projections can fall short of expectations if the critical issues are not addressed by the polity, society, industry and the world.
